SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot set defer-agent-startup property in Progress Explorer bigger than 1440
Unable to start source database via AdminServer if defer-agent-startup set to value higher that 1440
Error in admserv.log file
Value for agent connect-timeout on a target database cannot have a value of more than 1440 in Progress Explorer
The following errors occurred whilst loading a property file: In group "Server": Invalid property value: "10080" for property: "defer-Agent-Startup". (PRPMsg010)
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.1B
OpenEdge 10.1C
OpenEdge 10.2x
CAUSE:
Bug# OE00165949
CAUSE:
The new max value for defer-agent-startup is 10080, the new max value for connect-timeout is 86400. The AdminServer, however cannot process these values.
FIX:
As a workaround, either set the value to 1440 and lower or start the source database using command line/proserve.
