SYMPTOM(s):
Problem installing Progress on PC.
Product configuration screen, by default, is showing name of a different company than the one installing the product
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 8.x
Windows NT 32 Intel/Windows 2000
CAUSE:
The Company name is defaulting to the name to whom the PC is registered. To check this, right mouse click on My Computer and select Properties. In the general tab, you can verify to whom the PC is registered.
FIX:
The company name field can be editted. Change the name to the company that owns the Progress licenses.
