CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
1.At a Windows cmd prompt (go to start>run>type "cmd": )
Type in "at time /interactive cmd.exe"
Replace "time" with a valid time either 1 or 2 minutes ahead.For example, it's 12:00 so type
at 12:02 /interactive cmd.exe
At the time you specify, a command prompt console will appear. This is no normal command prompt because it has system rights. If you browse to the OpenEdge setup.exe file you are trying to run and run it then it should install.2. A second option is to re-install the O.S. and then Progress.
