SYMPTOM(s):
NameServer fails to restart with error (8212)
Name Server port 5162 invalid or in use.(8212)
nsman query unable to find NameServer
netstat -an does not report port 5162
ps -ax | grep java shows remaining java process after shutdown of the AdminServer
CAUSE:
AppServer java process remains after shut down of the AdminServer
FIX:
kill the remaining AppServer java process by its PID number.
