SYMPTOM(s):
OpenEdge Installation fails with error
** TERM not found in PROTERMCAP file
Echo $TERM returns a a supported term such as vt100.
Setting $TERM to other known support settings also fails.
CAUSE:
Variable such as $PROTERMCAP and/or $PROTERM is set to point to a PROTERMCAP file from a previous installation.
FIX:
Remove the PROTERMCAP and/or PROTERM variables from the installation shell and re-run proinst.
