SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot connect to OpenEdge database from Microsoft SQL Server using ODBC.
Test Connect fails with error.
DS-DBMS-E400: UDA driver reported the following on connection 'ALIAS_06250558':
UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "AOpen".

Clients are using Client Networking OpenEdge Version 10.0B
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.0B
OpenEdge 10.1B
CHANGE:
OpenEdge database was upgraded from 10.0B to 10.1B
CAUSE:
The driver being used by the client is the wrong version to communicate with a 10.1B OpenEdge Database. The 10.0B client is using the DataDirect 4.20 32-Bit OpenEdge SQL 10.0B driver. The client needs to make use of the Progress OpenEdge 10.1B driver which is version 5.20.
FIX:
Download and install the SQL Client Access Product for 10.1B from the Progress Electronic Distribution Site. The SQL Client Access Product for 10.1B contains the updated ODBC Drivers which are necessary to connect to an OpenEdge 10.1B database.
