SYMPTOM(s):
SQL: A Logical field, when true, is returned as -1 by the QlikView ODBC client when a FILE DSN is used.
The same logical field, when true, is returned as 1 by the QlikView ODBC client when a SYSTEM DSN is used.
The same logical field, when true, is returned as 1 by the Synametrics Technologies WinSQL ODBC client when either a FILE DSN or a SYSTEM DSN is used.
The same logical field, when true, is returned as 1 by the Microsoft ODBCTest Tool client when either a FILE DSN or a SYSTEM DSN is used.
CAUSE:
This is a limitation of the QlikView ODBC client.
FIX:
Use a SYSTEM DSN or, if you must use a FILE DSN, be ware of the above QlikView ODBC client limitation and handle it as desired programmatically.
