Connecting to a database with ODBC
SQL server process starts
Database log shows wrong DLC in SQL server startup
CAUSE:
Old DLC entries from another Progress OpenEdge version exist in system environment variables and/or registry.
FIX:
Remove the old DLC entries in system environment variables (remove DLC and remove DLC, DLC\bin from PATH).
If the entries from previous Progress version that has been uninstalled still exist in the registry,
then search and delete them from the registry.
