Unable to run Netsetup on Vista having installation behind Samba share
Netsetup GPFs on Vista
GPF occurs prior calling OS LAN Manager
Using mapped drive
Changing LAN Manager authentication does not solve the problem
Accessing \\server\sambashare shows no files present
CAUSE:
Samba configuration issue
FIX:
Add following to the [global] section of smb.conf file
host msdfs = no
and restart smbd and nmbd deamons
