FACT(s) (Environment):
UNIX
Progress 9.1D
Progress 9.1E
OpenEdge 10.x
FIX:
Once a Progress install is completed on UNIX, with a product that includes the AdminServer, you can option to set user and/or group security for the AdminServer. Set this on the command line when running proadsv to start the AdminServer. Use -admingroup followed by at least one group or a colon-separated list of groups and use -requireusername that requires a minimum of one user ID to be resolved for every AdminServer operation. The user needs to be a member of one of the groups listed. These need to be valid UNIX accounts and groups.
