Difference in .r when defining new shared or shared var
The .r code for a procedure containing a SHARED variable is larger
than the .r code for a procedure containing a NEW SHARED variable.
PROGRESS uses additional information (viz, struct, smci) to
resolve the SHARED variable at run time.
However, the execution times for both r. codes are the same.
