SYMPTOM(s):
OpenEdge Management doesn't recognize some logical volumes
Many file systems are displayed and can be monitored
Some file systems aren't recognized
Some logical volumes aren't recognized
Missing file systems are not available to be added via the Add Resource option within OpenEdge Management
Files such as database files on the non-displayed file systems are being displayed as residing on the root file system.
CAUSE:
Each type of OS and device combination usually needs explicit support in the code if it is to be handled.
FIX:
Log a support call with Progress Technical Support.
The support request will need to include information about the type of disk interfaces (scsi, sda etc) and any additional Logical Volume Manager type software or hardware being used.
