AS/400 Broker starts and stops immediately after submission
AS/400 Broker starts and stops immediately.
The user issues the STRPRONET command,
the job gets submitted, there is indication
of a problem.
The job uses about one second of cpu time and
the joblog does not indicate a problem
Check to see if you have a library called protmp. To do this, you can
type:
"DSPLIB PROTMP" on any command line to check the existance of this
library. If you do not have this library, this is an indication that
Progress has not been installed. It is more likely that Progress may
have been copied from one system to another. Progress will not work
in this case, you must install from the distribution media for
for Progress to run successfully. Certain objects are created during
the installation process that Progress requires to run
