We are proud to announce the release of OpenEdge 10.1C.
This new and exciting release builds on and complements 10.1A and 10.1B by making our customers even more productive.
Key enhancements in the 10.1C release include the following:

A structured error handling capability consistent with other object oriented programming languages that allows complete control over the handling of errors, provides support for debuggers, and is usable across all machines
Web Services Provider support for Progress Data Sets (ProDataSets) that completes their availability among the Application Server clients, thus allowing a single set of back-end business logic that any AppServer client can access
A next generation OpenEdge Sonic Enterprise ESB adapter that uses a native ABL invocation methodology and makes Open API calls at runtime to execute procedures on the Application Server, rather than treating ABL procedures as Web services
IPv6 support that replaces the nearly twenty year old IPv4 and addresses the U.S government mandate that Federal agencies upgrade their network backbones to IPv6 by June of 2008
An improvement to OpenEdge DataServers that adds Unicode, the globally recognized standard for software character coding, support for both the ORACLE DataServer and MS SQL DataServer
Additional 24x7 continuous database availability and problem resolution enhancements that:
Increase the number of startup parameters you can select and replace without having to bring down the database
Identify which procedure the user is running all the way down to the line number, thus diagnosing and resolving any potential code issues in advance
