What does Extent above the high water mark, skipping mean?
Extent <pathname/extent> is above high water mark, skipping...
This is an informational message that you may see when scanning a
database in version 7 or higher of Progress. The messsage is making
note that you have extents in this multi-volume database that are
not currently being used. In other words, no need to scan these
extents as there are no free blocks or rm blocks within these
extents at this point in time.
This does not indicate any corruption or problem with your database
structure. Rather, it is just informing you that these extents are
empty.
