User session crashes when making an online schema change.
Database crashes when an online schema change is made.
Client session is remote.
Client session is local.
Schema changes are made to areas which have only variable extents.
Schema changes are successful if area has fixed extents.
CAUSE:
This is a know issue
FIX:
Create the Area with fixed extents or a combination of fixed and variable extents.
