GOAL:
What application does the OpenEdge documentation folks use to capture and manipulate screen images in manuals?
GOAL:
Is there a 3rd party application that can be used to capture screen prints of the OpenEdge GUI client for documentation purposes?
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
FIX:
Screen images of OpenEdge products are obtained by making use of a 3rd party application called PaintShopPro by JASC software. Some images may also be obtained from using the Alt Print Screen button. These images are then pasted into a Microsoft Word document. There are tools within Microsoft Word that will allow you to draw on top of screen images that have been pasted into a document. See Microsoft Help for additional information on these capabilities.
