SYMPTOM(s):
alerts are generated with 11246 message when adminserver is started
Resource name contains non-ASCII characters. This is not supported by Fathom. No Fathom monitor was created for this resource. Resource name: <name> (11246)
The resource name is a database resource
resource is not visible in the OEM browser
CAUSE:
The database resource created with non-ascii character in the name. Special characters are not currently supported.
eg: database=élivér
FIX:
1. Shutdown the Fathom AdminServer
2. Edit the DLC/properties/conmgr.properties and the smdatabase.properties on the remote machine to remove the special characters listed in the 11246 Alert from related resources
3. start the Fathom AdminServer again, where the changes in the edited conmgr.properties (and smdatabase.properties) will be picked up
