Status: Verified
SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to add OE Replication 10.1A to existing OE 10.1A Database install
Installation routine will not proceed past the Type, Device, and Destination screen
Option to install in pre-existing installation path chosen
Choosing Continue with Installation does not allow install to move forward.
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge High Availability Replication 10.1A
OpenEdge High Availability Replication 10.0B
HP-UX 11i 64-bit
OpenEdge 10.1A 64-bit
All Supported Operating Systems
CAUSE:
Bug# OE00126582
CAUSE:
Installation routine is mistakenly determining that Replication is being installed stand alone.
FIX:
Upgrade to 10.1B or later.
As a workaround, install both Enterprise/Workgroup Database and Replication together at the same time. Make sure to enter the Database license first. Enter the Replication serial number and control codes last.
