SCO INSTALL Weird character on V7 /mnt/proinstall
The SCO Release 7.2A1B sometimes fails to install PROGRESS.
The /etc/mount command works properly but when the /mnt/proinstall
command is issued, the script pauses and eventually returns to the
# prompt.
Workaround: Use the following command:
sh -x /mnt/proinstall | tee file.out
It is not known at this time why this command works.
To help investigate the problem, get the following information:
uname -X
uname -a
swconfig output
the shell (bourne,ksh,csh)
