OpenEdge Replication source database in use by another user when attempting to load delta.df to update schema
Database in use by <user> on <tty>. Wait or choose CANCEL to stop. (2623)
No users connected to the source or target database
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge Replication
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
The replication server process is running, but is not communicating with the target database agent process.
FIX:
Restart the Target database to re-launch the rpagent process to get the source and target databases synchronized. Alternatively, terminate the rpserver process, load the .df, and resynch the source and target.
To terminate the replication server process run:
dsrutil sourcedb -C terminate server
To restart the replication server process run:
dsrutil sourcedb -C restart server
