Error 4217 occurs when executing r-code on 64-bit version of Progress
Query tuning parse error (4217)
Using DataServer QUERY-TUNING options ORDERED-JOIN and/or REVERSE-FROM
Code is compiled in 32-bit version of Progress
Code is deployed to a 64-bit version of Progress
Problem does not occur when code is compiled and deployed with 64-bit Progress
Problem does not occur if ORDERED-JOIN and REVERSE-FROM options are removed from code
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
Compile code with same bit version that is running on production system i.e. 32-bit to 32-bit, 64-bit to 64-bit
