GOAL:
What is meant by the verbose AppServer server log entry: connect requestID=NULL
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.1B
FIX:
The requestID found in the AppServer server log file when using verbose logging is a string sent by the client to help determine which client the request came from. This is most useful in a stateless or a state-free configuration and is used by development in the troubleshooting process. It may have a value of NULL depending on the version of the client or the state of the AppServer. The presence of requestID=Null is a diagnostic message and one should not be concerned by it presence.
