Novell 32-bit TCP/IP slower than 16-bit TCP/IP
Novell has posted a document in their KnowledgeBase with the title
"32-bit TCP/IP slower than 16-bit TCP/IP." In this document, Novell
says "When running a software from the company 'Progress Software
Europe' the performance is very slow when running with the 32-bit
TCP/IP from Client 32 (TCPIP.NLM, WINSOCK.DLL and WLIBSOCK.DLL)."
Novell has since fixed the problem and a Novell patch called
FTCP32H.EXE can be downloaded from Novell's Web site.
