Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
Scripts not being tailored during install
FACT(s) (Environment):
UNIX
OpenEdge 10.1B
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
CAUSE:
Some OpenEdge scripts don't seem to get tailored to the environment during install on UNIX.
Specifically, the scripts bproxsdto4gl, prolog, procluster contain -
DLC=${DLC-/usr/dlc};export DLC
In other scripts, e.g. pro, the path to the installation directory is getting written when the script file is created during the installation.
FIX:
Manually edit the scripts to reference the OpenEdge installation directory (DLC).
