RB - 8.3A Difference in SQL engine
Sorting different in 32 bit SQL Engine
The sorting done by the SQL Engine has been changed
from the 16 bit RBENG00.DLL to the 32 bit version.
The sort order has changed from the 16 bit Sql Engine
to the 32 bit Sql Engine.
The difference may be noticed in reports created without a specific
sort order using 16-bit Report builder.
When these reports are run in the 32-bit Report Builder the sort
order will be different from the 16-bit version.
_- If this occurs, open the report in 8.3A and add the sort order
you require.
