Progress on Windows 98
Progress on Windows 98
Progress Software tests new releases on operating systems that are
current at the time of the release. Progress Version 8.2C was
released when Windows 95 was the latest version available from
Microsoft. Progress Version 8.2C is fully tested and certified on
Windows 95.
Progress version 8.3A was released after Microsoft shipped Windows
98 and is fully tested on both Windows 95 and Windows 98. Anyone
running Progress on Windows 98 should be using Progress version
8.3A or later.
Progress version 8.2C is not supported on Windows 98 by
Progress and operation cannot be guaranteed. Progress Technical
Support cannot assist with problems encountered while using Windows
98. The customer needs to reproduce the problem under Windows 95. If
the problem also exists on Windows 95 then Progress Software
Technical Support will be glad to help.
