Unable to start database in multi-user mode when using OpenEdge Replication on Solaris 10 Zones (Containers)
Database log file shows the error:
The Fathom Replication Server is terminating due to an error. (10399)
repl.server.startup.lg shows the error:
Unable to kill parent process, errno=0
Database crashes soon after startup.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Database starts and runs correctly when OpenEdge Replication is not enabled.

CAUSE:
In a zone environment the default parent process ID is not 1, it's the PID of the zsched process.
FIX:
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.1A02
OR
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.1B or later
