SYMPTOM(s):
Extent fields are incorrectly pulled to the ODBC schema
Data Direct DB2 Wire Protocol driver v5.x
For each array element a separate field is being created.
The problem happens only when accessing iSeries with non-US National Language Support (NLS), e.g. French, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, etc.
The extent fields are recognized properly on systems with US/UK locale
