Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress/OpenEdge Versions
SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to parse "AREA"
Unable to parse "MAX-WIDTH"
Importing Progress or OpenEdge df into Erwin 4.1
Progress / OpenEdge Database Versions higher than 8
CAUSE:
The UML tool "AllFusion Erwin" Version 4.1 was the last known version to certify for the Progress database. The Progress database version that was certified was v8. Any ddl syntax in a Progress/OpenEdge .df file that dates beyond v8 will cause the types of error specified above.
FIX:
There is no known fix but a workaround is to remove this syntax from the .df file before importing it into Erwin.
