SYMPTOM(s):
Getting error while shutting down database Flushing Buffer Pool: 0 buffers remaining. (11020)
Error message lists 0 buffers.
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.0x
CAUSE:
Bug# OE00099260
FIX:
This is a cosmetic bug. It does not cause the database to shutdown.
The nature of this bug is that it does not give the correct listing of how many buffers still remain to be flushed from the database buffer pool before shutdown completes.
Check to make sure none of the disks servicing the database are 100% busy and therefore may be blocking or slowing down writes of the buffer pool.
That would include any disk that the database in question has extents on.
