Bad Magic Number on Solaris (Sun workstations).
When you get a "Bad Magic Number" error message when you try to
install PROGRESS on a Sun Solaris platform, it most likely indicates
that the Version of Solaris is incorrect, not a tape error which is
the typical meaning of the error message. Solaris 1.x and 2.x are not
binary compatible. PROGRESS 6.2L is for Solaris 1.x and 6.2L04 is for
Solaris 2.x.
