GOAL:
Can I keep the messenger custom error message file in a separate folder?
GOAL:
Is it possible to keep the wsCusErr.txt file in a separate folder than the working directory?
FACT(s) (Environment):
WebSpeed 3.x
OpenEdge 10.x
FIX:
For Windows, the custom error file is always written to the WorkPath variable defined in the registry only.
For UNIX, the file is written to the "WRKDIR" variable defined in the wspd_cgi.sh file.
It is much easier to change the WRKDIR variable in wspd_cgi.sh file in UNIX than the Windows as the wspd_cgi.sh file will only be effective for CGI messenger. It is not recommended to change the WorkPath variable in Windows registry as the other processes may also create log files which defeats the purpose of separating the wsCusErr.txt file.
