Report Builder: Error 'Database server did not understand the Report Builder's request' running Report Builder.
Database Request failed. Database error is: Database server did not understand the Report Builder's request.
CAUSE:
This error was reported to have been caused by (1) database corruption as well or (2) calculated fields defined with the SUBSTRING function in which the SUBSTRING function references out of bound positions.
FIX:
Dump and load the database. If database data corruption is the true cause of the error, the error will go away, else, work with your Progress Technical Support Engineer to investigate other possible causes paying special attention to calculated fields defined in the specific report involving SUBSTRING function which may be referencing out of bound sting positions.
