Printing from preview in v8 GUI Results is different than v7
In v7 of GUI Results, when you hit the PRINT button from the PREVIEW
of the report, it presents you with a windows print options frame,
where you may select which printer you wish to use. You get this same
screen when you navigate Query->Print->To Printer. Basically, this
lets you select print destination on the fly from the preview screen.
In v8.0, 8.1, 8.2 of GUI Results, when you select print from the print
preview screen, it immediately prints to the default printer without
giving you the opportunity to select print destination on the fly.
However, you are still given this opportunity via
Query->Print->To Printer.
This is not a bug. The decision was made to make the Print button
tool bar act as a quick print option, similar to MS Word, by using
current print settings. As has been mentioned, the user can still
change print settings by selecting Query->Print.
