The web request hangs and times out with IIS
The following request also hangs and ultimately times out:
http://<host-name>/scripts/cgiip.exe
The scripts virtual directory exists on the IIS which points to [drive]:\intepub\scripts
The the scripts virtual directory has read and executable permissions
The messenger worked before uninstalling and reinstalling web server, IIS 5.0

CHANGE:
The IIS is mistakenly uninstalled from server and reinstalled
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Replace the cgiip.exe messenger on the inetpub/scripts from %DLC%\bin folder
