GOAL:
How to move the Fathom/OpenEdge Management Trend database to another directory on the same server.
FIX:
The Fathom/OpenEdge Trend database can be moved using the normal methods of moving a database. These methods include:
1) OS copying the database files (including .st file), editing the fathom.st file to reflect the new location, and running prostrct repair
2) Copying the fathom.st file to the new location, editing the fathom.st file to reflect the new location, and running procopy.
3) Copying the fathom.st file to the new location ,editing the fathom.st file to reflect the new location, probkup and prorest the Fathom/OpenEdge Management Trend database.
Remember to edit the conmgr.properties file so the AdminServer knows where the new copy is located. This can be done manually or via the Progress Explorer, or in the Fathom/OpenEdge Management console under the Options/Trend Database screen.
