Bad comm data block running a deployed Applet in Apptivity
Bad comm data block running a deployed Applet in Apptivity.
The "Bad comm data block" error message can be encountered when
running a deployed applet in Apptivity. The Bad comm data block is
issued when there is an error trying to reconstruct the objects on
the receiving side.
This can occur in two different senarios.
(1) When running Apptivity 2.0 project classes with an Apptivity 2.1
server
(2) Running Apptivity 2.1 project classes with a 2.0 server.
The project classes and server classes must be of the same version.
i.e. in situation (1) the server must be upgraded to 2.1 or in (2) the
project classes must be rebuild in Apptivity 2.1
