SYMPTOM(s):
In OpenEdge Architect the Class Lookup takes a long time searching.
Class lookup scans all directories when trying to enter a class name. This takes a very long time.
The class lookup with auto-completion enabled seems to take a long time searching for classes.
CAUSE:
The Class Cache options in the Architect preferences have been configured to search the PROPATH.
FIX:
This can be resolved with the Class Cache options in the Window->Preferences->OpenEdge Architect->Advanced->Class Cache, options menu. Here you can tell Architect to search the PROPATH or the project directory. You can also choose to cache the classes at startup.
