How to use the Solution Center to find solutions based on a description of a problem?

FIX:

The Progress Solution Center is a compendium of how-to's; example code and diagnostic / repair steps covering situations related to situations not explicitly detailed in the Progress Documentation or problems encountered by customers.

The Solution Center content is constantly being added to since it is a requirement to document any situation which is not already defined within the current body of knowledge contained in the Solution Center.

To get to the Solution Center:
1) Start a Web Browser
2) Go to the web address http://www.progress.com/support
3) Choose Knowledge Base
4) Choose the appropriate product set related to the question / issue:
Either:
Progress OpenEdge, Progress Version 9, Fathom, or EasyAsk
or
ObjectStore, DataXtend (incl. Persistence, PeerDirect & Pantero products)
5) Click on the Submit button after selecting
When researching how to perform an activity, try entering a full sentence in fillin text box title "Find Answers...to your problem".

Full sentence search statements work better than keywords.
The engine behind the solution center uses a heuristic search algorithm and will usually pick the more relevant solutions.
