SYMPTOM(s):
DB navigator can not connect to database
The following error occurs:
Error connecting to '<connection name>'
com.ddtek.jdbc.openedge.OpenEdgeDriver
The Edit Driver dialog shows correct Java Class Path
The Edit Driver dialog shows correct Extra Class Path
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
The .jar files for the JDBC driver used by OpenEdge Architect were missing from the installation, it remains unknown why this happened.
FIX:
Copy the \java directory from the installation directory of a working installation of the same release to the installation directory of the failing installation.
