SYMPTOM(s):
OpenEdge Architect: Outline view fails to display class methods.
Syntax coloring and autocomplete are disabled in the editor.
Syntax Check option is not available from the editor's context menu.
CAUSE:
The class was opened with Text Editor using: Open With > Text Editor from the class's context menu.
FIX:
This is expected behavior. The text editor does not have the features of the OpenEdge Editor. Open the class with the OpenEdge .cls Editor using Open With > OpenEdge .cls Editor from the class's context menu.
