GOAL:
What does a capital -S in the UNIX permissions stand for.
GOAL:
appserver will not start , access denied.
GOAL:
The _proapsv.exe executable has a capital S for setuid bit
FACT(s) (Environment):
UNIX
FIX:
When the suid bit is set, lt displays an s rather than a x for the owner execute permission. If the setuid bit is set, but the owner execute bit is off, it will display a capital S in this case.
Make sure permissions are set correctly.
