GOAL:
Are there any special considerations when setting up Fathom Replication source on a cluster and the target on Citrix
FIX:
We cannot see that there would be any special considerations outside the usual considerations for Fathom Replication and Progress enabled on the Clustered environment.
Some points in particular would be:
As long as the database is on the shared-filesystem, ie not local on the cluster
and as long as the RPLS can contact the RPLA and vice versa even after failover
as long as the network between the source and target is good (this is always an archillies heel of fathom replication)
as long as there's one set of *.repl.properties files for each of the replicated databases.
Of course, every enviroment has it's peculiarities. It is therefore strongly recomended to test and document before pushing to production. We often have cases at support when (say) the replication is broken or the production database goes down and the Companies recovery plan is just undecided, somehow mooting the effort of having this Recovery solution.
