SYMPTOM(s):
Application causes record and index corruption.
Error 1422 when trying to update corrupted record.
SYSTEM ERROR: Index in for recid could not be deleted. (1422)
vv_flush error shows in the database log file
vv_flush:I/O error 5 on fd 1
CAUSE:
vv_flush causes the client to process an internal hard ^C which causes the client to resync the session without undo-ing the database transactions
