Why do SSL connections from .NET Open Clients fail on Windows 2000?
FIX:
Enabling an SSL connection with the .Net Open Client does not work on Windows 2000. We have found an incompatibility between Windows 2000 SSL support and the OpenEdge Server. There is no workaround. .Net Open Client SSL support works fine on Windows XP, and 4GL and Java clients are not affected.
