INSTALLATION ERROR (136): The configuration data entered is for an incompatible machine. Call Progress technical support.

CAUSE:
The media being used to install from has a different bit version than the product codes.
For example:
The media might specify "Linux 10.1B" (a 32-bit product) but the control codes might be for 64-bit product "Linux AMD 64-bit 10.1B".
FIX:
Obtain the correct media that matches the Progress product codes by either downloading the correct product from the Progress download center, or by contacting Progress customer services.
For example:
Media: Linux 10.1B
Codes: Linux 10.1B
or
Media: Linux AMD 64-bit 10.1B
Codes: Linux 64-bit AMD 10.1B
