Actuate and Progress ESQL32.DLL Interface
The Windows Dynamic Link library file ESQL32.DLL must be installed
on the client computer that will run Developer workbench.
The Actuate Database Interface utilizes the capabilities of this
library (by linking to the functions of the library), and thus
collectively forms what is known as a Progress Small Client.
The Progress Small Client is a specification of the Progress
Open Interface Architecture, which allows for a server-based
deployment of the Progress run-time compiler and query handlers.
The Actuate Database Interface exclusively utilizes the Progress
Small Client specification.
The file ESQL32.DLL is shipped with the following
