8.0C50 / 7.3C80 Maintenance Release Progress/400 DataServer
The following bugs has been fixed in this release:
97-11-19-001 When using the Progress Unknown Value with earlier
Progress/400, sometimes the client experienced errors 778
and the server joblog showed decimal data errors MCH1202.
98-02-04-023 If the Progress/400 dictionary library was created using
ASCII collation tables for ALTSEQ and ALTSEQI on the
DUPPRODB command, the Progress/400 Data Dictionary showed
no fields or indexes.
98-02-20-005 Word Indexing did not work correctly if the Progress/400
dictionary library was created using non-default ALTSEQ
tables.
98-03-12-033 The QCMD command "!CLOSE *ALL" did not close all opened
files.
98-03-13-003 PROSPORT library was not working correctly if it was
used directly. However, PROSPORT should never be used
directly since it is the "template" to make copies of
this Progress demo database when required.
The following new features have been included in this release:
- Progress/400 is now DBE (Double Byte Enabled).
