Getting error 1422 with Mazovia database
Database uses the Mazovia code page
Entering characters with the UTF-8 client
Updating record results in error 1422
Index <indexname> in <tablename> for recid <recid> could not be deleted. (1422)
CAUSE:
The users are entering non Polish characters using the UTF-8 client (and UTF-8 encoding). These cannot be stored in the database because the Mazovia code page does not support them. Subsequently the characters and index entries are corrupted.
FIX:
If the (non Mazovia) characters must be entered into the database then select a code page for the database that supports them. If Mazovia characters must also be entered then converting the database to UTF-8 may be the best solution
